This is a 3D-printed resin detail set for a model of the Mil Mi-17 helicopter in 1:72 scale. It reproduces the vibration damper mounted on the main rotor head, a small but conspicuous element that injection-molded plastic often simplifies or leaves out.
It is fitted onto the main rotor head and completes a characteristic detail of the drive system. The parts are fine and accurate, which raises the fidelity of the upper part of a model.
Lift the small parts off the print supports and wash them. They are glued with cyanoacrylate glue. Bring out the metal parts with a dark metallic shade and light highlighting; it is worth painting the parts before the final assembly.
The set is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and the base kit are not included in the package.
