Responsibility details are not available.
This resin set of replacement wheels from Reskit is intended for a model of the late configuration of the MiG-15 jet fighter in 1:72 scale. It is not an airplane model but a detail accessory that replaces the wheels from a plastic kit with more faithful resin castings. The set suits more experienced modelers who work with resin.
Resin wheels tend to be more accurate than the standard plastic parts, with a finer tread pattern and often a realistic flattening of the tire under the weight of the machine. The MiG-15 was a Soviet jet fighter with a swept wing, one of the most widespread fighters of its era. The late configuration differed from the early one in a number of details, including the landing gear wheels.
Wash the parts to remove the mold release agent, cut off the casting blocks and sand with respiratory protection. Bond the wheels with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Paint the hubs and the tires separately; masking and an airbrush help. A light weathering with pigments will support the realistic look.
This is an accessory wheel set, not an airplane model. The paints, the glue and the base model are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
