The SPACE range set from Eduard is a detail accessory intended for a model of the MiG-21MF fighter in 1:72 scale. It is not an aircraft kit but a set for improving the cockpit. It combines 3D printed decals on backing paper (instrument panel, side panels and consoles with a raised, three-dimensional look to the instruments) and pre-colored photo-etched parts, among them the seat belts of the ejection seat. The result is a markedly more faithful and more three-dimensional cockpit than ordinary decals give.
For modelers who want to give their MiG-21MF model in 1:72 scale a maximally faithful cockpit with a minimum of work. Suitable for more advanced builders who work with photo-etched parts and fine details.
This is a detail set, not a model. The 3D elements have no adhesive layer of their own: only the backing paper is moistened with a damp sponge and a drop of detergent, the element is lifted off with tweezers and fixed with PVA glue (white glue). Do not use super glue or a decal softener, as the chemicals would attack the printed layer.
