Quickboost 1:72 MiG-29A Fulcrum correct nose is a resin replacement for the forward fuselage of a model of the Soviet and Russian Mikoyan MiG-29A fighter.
Responsibility details are not available.
This resin set from the Quickboost brand of the Czech maker Aires brings a faithfully cast forward fuselage with a correctly shaped radome for a model of the Soviet and Russian Mikoyan MiG-29A Fulcrum frontline fighter in 1:72 scale. It is not an airplane model, but a corrective accessory for more experienced modelers that replaces the inaccurately shaped nose from the plastic kit with a casting with the right geometry and profile.
The Mikoyan MiG-29 Fulcrum is a Soviet and later Russian twin-engine fourth-generation frontline fighter, in service from the 1980s with a number of air forces. It stands out for its agility and for the distinctive shape of the nose with the radome and the long probe. Capturing the shape of the nose accurately tends to be a problem on models.
First wash the castings in lukewarm soapy water so that the mold release residue is removed. Cut the casting block off with a saw and level the joint with the fuselage carefully, filling it if needed. Glue the parts with cyanoacrylate glue, not with cement for plastic. Try the fit dry before painting, as resin may need a little cleaning up.
The set is supplied as a resin part, unassembled and unpainted. It is not an airplane model, but an accessory to a plastic kit. Glue, paints and the base kit are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
