Eduard Brassin 1:72 MiG-29A Izdeliye 9-12 cockpit is a resin set of a complete cockpit that replaces the kit interior on models of the early MiG-29A version.
Responsibility details are not available.
This is not a model of an aircraft but a detail accessory of resin from the manufacturer Eduard. The set replaces the complete cockpit of models of the MiG-29A in the early production version Izdeliye 9-12 in 1:72 scale. It contains the cockpit tub, the instrument panel, the side consoles and the ejection seat, complemented by etched parts and decal instruments for maximum fidelity.
Izdeliye 9-12 is the factory designation of the early production version of the MiG-29A frontline fighter of the 1980s. The cockpit with its analog instruments and characteristic layout of the controls is clearly visible under the canopy glazing, so sharpening it lifts the realism of a finished model markedly.
Wash the resin parts in lukewarm water with detergent because of the mold release agent. Cut off the casting blocks with a saw and sand the surfaces with respiratory protection, and glue the parts with cyanoacrylate glue. Bend the etched features over an edge and complete the instrument panel with the enclosed decals. The interior is usually sprayed in the characteristic turquoise gray of Soviet cockpits.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted; these are parts of resin and photo-etch for completing a plastic model. Glue, paints and the base kit are not included in the package.
