A 3D-printed resin set of the cockpit for the MiG-21bis (PRINT) in 1:72 scale from Eduard: direct printing for Eduard kits.
Responsibility details are not available.
A detailed set of the cockpit for the MiG-21bis in 1:72 scale from the Eduard PRINT range (a Czech manufacturer). The parts are made by direct 3D printing in resin with a high level of detail: the cockpit tub, the instrument panel, the side consoles and the ejection seat. The set is intended for the Eduard MiG-21bis kits and replaces the plastic parts supplied with them. It is not a stand-alone model but a detailed insert into a kit.
The MiG-21, with the NATO reporting name Fishbed, was a Soviet supersonic fighter and one of the most widely used jet fighters in history. The MiG-21bis version was the last major stage of its development, with a more powerful engine and modernized avionics. It flew with dozens of air arms, among them the Czechoslovak one.
Wash the print resin residue off the resin parts, separate them carefully from the carrier frames and do the sanding with respiratory protection. Bond with super glue (cyanoacrylate). The fine printing comes into its own once it is painted and the detail is picked out with washes and a dry brush. Check the fit against your particular kit.
This is an add-on resin set (3D print), not a stand-alone model. The kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
