This is a resin wheel set in 1:72 scale for models of the MiG-23B and MiG-23BN ground attack versions from the Ukrainian brand Armory. It is not an aircraft kit but a replacement for the landing gear wheels. The ground attack versions of the Flogger had landing gear strengthened for a higher takeoff weight, so their wheels differ from those of the fighter variants and the swap shows on the model. Check the contents on the box.
The MiG-23 was a Soviet fighter with a variable-geometry wing. The MiG-23B version and the export MiG-23BN turned it into a ground attack machine: instead of the radar they received a modified nose with sighting equipment, heavier armor around the cockpit, a different engine and landing gear strengthened for a higher takeoff weight with external stores. The MiG-23BN was exported to a number of countries and became the basis for the further development of the ground attack line, from which the separate MiG-27 type eventually grew.
