This is a resin wheel set in 1:72 scale for models of the MiG-23BM and of the ground attack MiG-27 including the M, D and K versions, from the Ukrainian brand Armory. It is not an aircraft kit but a replacement for the landing gear wheels. These machines had landing gear sized for a high takeoff weight with external stores, so the wheels are of a different type than on the fighter Floggers. Check the contents on the box.
The MiG-27 grew out of the MiG-23BM ground attack line as a separate type aimed solely at work over ground targets. Compared with the fighter MiG-23 it received a modified nose with a good view downward, fixed air intakes and a simplified exhaust nozzle, because supersonic flight at high altitude was no longer its task. The M, D and K versions differed in their sighting and reconnaissance equipment, and the K carried the most advanced optical system. The wing had variable geometry and the landing gear was of the tricycle type, strengthened for heavy stores and operation from field airfields.
