An injection-molded plastic kit of the French supersonic fighter Dassault Mirage F.1 in the export versions CE and CH, in 1:72 scale from the Special Hobby brand. The parts are molded in gray plastic with fine engraved panel lines, and the cockpit has a clear canopy that can be built in the open or the closed position. The set also contains small resin parts and a decal sheet for several Spanish and Moroccan aircraft.
The Mirage F.1 was a French single-seat supersonic fighter with a conventional swept wing that replaced the earlier delta-wing Mirage III. The CE version was the export fighter for the Spanish Air Force and the CH version for Morocco. Both types differ in detail from the basic French F.1C, and in both countries they flew for many years as worthy opponents for the aircraft of their day.
Use liquid cement for plastic and glue the small resin parts with cyanoacrylate glue. Paint the cockpit before the fuselage is closed up. We recommend a base coat, an airbrush and light washes; the Spanish and Moroccan camouflage with its sand and green shades comes out well with careful masking and emphasis on the panel lines.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
