A single resin 3D-printed figure of a present-day military mechanic in a lying working pose, in 1:72 scale from the Ukrainian maker Spalah. The figure is meant to be assembled and painted, and it suits scenes of equipment repair where a mechanic works under a vehicle or beside it. It is supplied unassembled and unpainted.
A lying pose is a very rewarding one for a diorama, because it naturally suggests a repair in progress. Placed like this, the figure brings a model of a truck or an armored vehicle to life and gives the scene a story and movement. Despite the small 1:72 scale it carries a well worked surface of the work clothing.
Clean the print resin residue and the print supports off the small resin parts, cut the supports away carefully and sand the parting surfaces lightly with respiratory protection. Glue with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). Apply a thin primer before painting; thinned shades and fine traces of oil and dirt bring the work clothing to life.
The figure is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
