Firma49 MP 40 1:72 is a resin, 3D-printed set of small replicas of the German submachine gun for dioramas and figures.
Responsibility details are not available.
This is a resin (3D-printed) set of miniature weapons in 1:72 scale from the Czech manufacturer Firma49. It is not a kit but a fine accessory for arming figures and bringing a scene to life. Even in a small scale the printing keeps the characteristic silhouette of the submachine gun.
The MP 40 was a German submachine gun of the Second World War chambered for the 9x19 mm Parabellum pistol cartridge. It was marked by all-metal construction, a folding shoulder stock and a simple design suited to mass production; it was widely used by Wehrmacht units, above all by squad leaders, paratroopers and vehicle crews.
Resin can be sanded and cut, but in this scale the parts are very small, so handle them carefully, preferably with tweezers. Before taking them off the supports, dip them in hot water; the material softens and will not chip. Clean them in lukewarm soapy water, glue them with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue) and apply a primer. Protect your airways while sanding.
The set contains resin accessories, not paints, glue or figures, unless stated otherwise.
