The Quickboost landing gear doors for the P-40 Warhawk in 1:72 scale. A resin detail accessory of the Aires brand.
Responsibility details are not available.
A resin detail accessory of the Quickboost brand from the manufacturer Aires in 1:72 scale. It is not an aircraft model but a stand-alone set of landing gear doors with which you replace the plastic parts on a finished model of the P-40 Warhawk fighter. The fine resin rendering offers thinner edges and a more faithful shape.
The Curtiss P-40 Warhawk was an American single-seat fighter of the Second World War. It was powered by a liquid-cooled Allison V12 engine. The doors closed off the bays of the main landing gear and partly the wheels once they were retracted.
Wash the mold release residue off the parts, carefully separate the casting blocks and bond them with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Wear respiratory protection while sanding. Before painting, check that the doors are seated correctly against the landing gear bays.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
