Aires resin radio equipment for the P-40B Warhawk in 1:72 scale. A detailed resin set that adds to the interior fittings of the plastic kit.
Responsibility details are not available.
A resin detail set from Aires in 1:72 scale holding the radio equipment of the American P-40B Warhawk fighter. This is not a model of the aircraft but an aftermarket accessory that adds finely rendered interior instruments and a radio set to the bay behind the cockpit of a suitable kit.
The P-40B Warhawk is a single-seat fighter flown in the early part of the Second World War. Behind the pilot's cockpit it carried radio equipment, which makes an interesting detail for a faithful build wherever that bay is open or visible through the glazing.
Wash the resin parts free of mold release residue, cut off the casting blocks and clean them up with respiratory protection. It is bonded with super glue (cyanoacrylate). The instruments and the radio boxes come into their own once they are painted and the detail is picked out with a wash; check that the equipment lines up with the inside of the fuselage.
This is a resin accessory. The kit itself, glue and paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
