It is not an airplane model but a detail accessory for more experienced modelers, replacing the plastic part with a casting with the correct section and fine surface definition.
The Republic P-47 Thunderbolt was an American single-seat heavy fighter of the Second World War, one of the largest and heaviest single-engine fighters of its day. It was powered by a capable radial engine with a turbocharger and proved itself as a tough escort fighter and as an attack aircraft.
First wash the castings in lukewarm soapy water to remove mold release residue from the mold. Cut off the casting blocks with a sharp saw or knife and sand the cut surfaces with respiratory protection. Bond the parts with super glue (cyanoacrylate), not with ordinary plastic cement. Test the fit dry before painting, as resin may need a little cleaning up.
The part is supplied as a resin casting, unassembled and unpainted. It is not an airplane model but an accessory for a plastic kit. Glue, paints and the base kit are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
