This set from the Czech manufacturer CMK contains resin replacement control surfaces for the North American P-51B/C Mustang fighter from the Arma Hobby kit in 1:72 scale. It makes it possible to replace the factory parts with finer castings and to set the control surfaces and flaps in a deflected position, so that the model gains a livelier, realistic appearance. This is not a model of the whole airplane but a detail set for your base model.
The P-51B/C was an early version of the legendary American Mustang fighter, with its characteristic framed canopy. With the arrival of the powerful Merlin engine the Mustang became one of the best escort fighters of the Second World War, able to protect bombers all the way over German territory.
Wash the mold release residue off the resin parts, cut off the casting blocks and sand the surfaces wet with respiratory protection. The control surfaces and flaps can be fitted deflected, which brings a static model to life. They are bonded with super glue (cyanoacrylate), and a base coat should be applied before painting.
The set is supplied unassembled and unpainted, as a resin accessory. The base model, glue and paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
