1:72 P-51D-5 Mustang LööKplus is an Eduard package with a ready-made instrument panel, a printed seat and gunsights for the model of the early Mustang version.

The package brings together three Eduard accessories that replace the most visible parts of the cockpit of a small model in 1:72 scale. The core is a pre-painted resin panel with a set of steel belts, joined by a printed pilot's seat and gunsights. The fighter model is sold separately.
The P-51D-5 was the first production block of the D version, that is the first Mustang with a teardrop canopy and a lowered rear fuselage spine. It was on this block that the view to the rear changed fundamentally compared with the earlier variants. Later blocks differed from it in cockpit changes and equipment, which is why Eduard makes its own versions of the sets for them; at 1:72 the panel and the upper part of the seat are what is mainly visible with the canopy closed, so replacing these parts gives the greatest effect.
The parts are small, so work on a light surface with fine-tipped tweezers. The panel is not oversprayed; the print is finished and a coat of varnish would cover it. Bend the belts over a thin rod and let them hang freely over the edge of the seat.
For the builder in a small scale who does not want to paint dials with a brush, and for the collector who lines up the individual Mustang blocks side by side.
The teardrop canopy of the D-5 block is transparent all the way around, so the panel and the upper part of the seat are visible from the side as well. The order of work follows from that: finish the cockpit before you fix the canopy in place for good.
