The Panzerbefehlswagen III was the command version of the Panzer III medium tank. Instead of the full armament it carried extended radio equipment and map space for the unit commander, so on many machines the main gun was only a dummy and only a machine gun was left in the hull. The Ausf.E version was among the prewar and early wartime forms; command vehicles of this type served at the head of panzer units at the beginning of the Second World War.
Thanks to the lower number of parts the build is a quick one. Glue the joints with thin plastic cement, spray the model with primer and paint it with an airbrush or a brush. The characteristic prewar gray finish comes to life with a fine wash into the recesses and dry scuffing of the edges; do not forget the aerials of the command version.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
