An injection-molded plastic kit of the Soviet Petlyakov Pe-2 dive bomber in the form of production series 87 with the FT system, in 1:72 scale from the Ukrainian maker Unimodel. The package contains plastic parts on sprues, supplementary parts, a decal sheet and instructions.
The Pe-2 was a twin-engine Soviet bomber of the Second World War period, appreciated for its speed and agility. It was built in many production series, which differed in their equipment and in details of the airframe. This kit captures one of the later production series with its specific equipment.
Cut the parts off with a sharp knife and glue them with thin cement for plastic. Finish the cockpit and the landing gear before closing the fuselage; in 1:72 scale work carefully with the tiny parts. Apply a primer before painting, use a gloss coat for the decals and unify the surface with a matte one at the end.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
