IBG PZL P.11b in Romanian service 1:72 is a modern plastic kit of the Polish high-wing monoplane in the export version for Romania.
Responsibility details are not available.
A plastic kit of the Polish PZL P.11b fighter in the export Romanian version, in 1:72 scale from the manufacturer IBG Models. It is a modern, newly developed tooling with fine surface detail. The decals let you build the aircraft in three versions of the Romanian Air Force, so the model offers an interesting alternative to the usual Polish machines.
The PZL P.11 was a Polish all-metal high-wing monoplane with the characteristic high gull wing of the so-called Polish type, which in the mid-1930s counted among modern fighters. The P.11b version was created for Romania and used a license-built Gnome-Rhône 9Krsd radial engine. Romania wanted the deliveries so much that their production came ahead of the aircraft for the Polish Air Force.
Separate the fine parts with a sharp knife and check the dry fit beforehand. Paint the cockpit and the instrument panel before closing the fuselage. The thin struts and the landing gear call for accurate bonding. Apply a primer and spray the metal or color finish with an airbrush. The corrugated skin comes into its own with a fine panel wash and restrained edge highlighting.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
