This is not an airplane model but a detailed resin armament accessory from the Brassin range. The set represents the Soviet R-3R air-to-air guided missiles in the radar-guided version and is intended to be carried under MiG-21 models in 1:72 scale.
The R-3R is the radar-guided version of a short-range missile derived from the R-3S (known in the West as the AA-2 Atoll). It complemented the infrared version and widened the options of interceptor MiG-21s. Faithful missiles give a model the authentic period look of its armament.
Wash the parts to remove the mold release agent, cut them from the casting blocks and clean them up. Bond with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Wear respiratory protection while sanding. The thin fins and the guidance sensors call for delicate work; line the pylons up dry.
It is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and the base kit are not included in the package.
