1:72 Rafale EG #451 'Ramstein Flag 2024' Hellenic Air Force - Andraviada AB

Rafale EG No. 451 Ramstein Flag 2024, Hellenic Air Force, 1:72 (Syhart Decal)

A set of wet decals for building the single-seat Dassault Rafale EG of the Hellenic Air Force with the special temporary finish that aircraft number 451 carried on its vertical tail. The package contains decal sheets, a color guide for application and masks for the non-slip areas; the decals are intended for Rafale EG models in this scale.

The subject

Rafale EG 451 is one of the new aircraft delivered to the Hellenic Air Force. It carried the special artwork on the left side of the fin during a NATO exercise in the autumn of 2024, which took place at Andravida air base. The motif consists of a stylized Greek flag, the NATO emblem and the silhouettes of Rafale, F-35, F-16 and Eurofighter aircraft; on the right side of the tail there is a black and white checkered band completed by the aircraft number. The aircraft belongs to the Hawks squadron based at Tanagra.

Application

• Apply the decals onto a glossy, smoothly varnished surface, so that no silvering edges appear.
• Use a decal softener and a setting solution for perfect adhesion to the engraved detail.
• The enclosed masks make spraying the non-slip areas easier.

Who the set is for

• Modelers interested in present-day French and Greek combat aviation.
• Collectors of special and commemorative Rafale finishes.
• Builders who want an original variant outside the usual museum schemes.

This is a standalone decal sheet, not a kit. The model of the aircraft, paints and glue are not included in the package.
