A collector's figure from the Journeyman Miniatures line under the designation Kassar the Fugitive, in the size of 75 mm. Intended to be painted by the modeler and displayed.
Responsibility details are not available.
The character appears under the name Kassar and the epithet draws it as a fugitive, that is as somebody on the run. The figure comes from the Journeyman Miniatures line and belongs among the collector's pieces that are not built for a game but for painting and display. The character of such a figure is carried mainly by the face, the stance and the working of the fabric and the equipment, because it is on those that it shows whether the painting is finished or merely applied.
A size of 75 mm means that the figure ranks among the larger collector's formats. Against small gaming figures it offers considerably more room for the face, for the transitions of shade and for the structure of the materials, so techniques can be used on it that are of no use at a smaller size: soft transitions, veining of the skin, the stitching of fabric or fine highlights on metal. How many parts the figure is divided into and what else the package contains is given by the manufacturer.
First set the parts together dry and check the seams; with figures of this size the joint at the shoulders and at the waist tends to be the most conspicuous. Cut away the excess material with a sharp blade a little way from the part and sand the remainder down. Before painting, wash and degrease the figure, otherwise the paint will peel off even after it has dried. Apply the base coat thinly so that the fine relief stays legible. Work from the bottom upward and leave the face for a moment when you have a steady hand. The recommended glue and the assembly procedure are given in the manufacturer's instructions.
Paints, brushes, glue and a display case are not part of the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
