Resin seats for the civil version of the Twin Pioneer in 1:72 are an accessory set with passenger seats for the cabin of the model. It is not an airplane kit but parts for improving the interior.
Responsibility details are not available.
A set of resin castings with passenger seats, intended to complete the cabin of a model of the Scottish Aviation Twin Pioneer aircraft in 1:72 scale in its civil version. The accessory is aimed at modelers who build the transport version of the machine with its glazed cabin and who want the interior to be seen in a matching form. It is neither a model nor a kit.
While the military versions carried people and cargo on simple seats, the transport machines had a cabin fitted with rows of passenger seats. That difference is the most striking one when you look through the windows of the model and it tells the civil version from the military one at a glance.
Wash the castings in lukewarm water with detergent to remove the mold release agent. Cut the casting blocks off with a saw and sand wet and with respiratory protection. They are glued with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). Paint the seats and arrange them on the cabin floor before you close the fuselage; it pays to set the seat upholstery apart in tone from the floor so that the interior stays readable through the windows. A light wash brings out the shape of the seats even in a small scale and dry brushing on the upper edges gives the upholstery depth. Try the arrangement of the seats dry beforehand, because once the fuselage is closed you will not move them.
The package contains only the accessory parts. The kit, the glue and the paints are not part of it.
