An injection-molded plastic kit of the German heavy eight-wheeled armored car Sd.Kfz.263 (Panzerfunkwagen) in 1:72 scale from the manufacturer First to Fight. In this space-saving scale the model offers a quick build and the characteristic frame antenna of the radio version. It is supplied unassembled and unpainted.
The Sd.Kfz.263 8-rad was a German heavy eight-wheeled armored car equipped with a powerful radio set for communication over great distances. It derived from the family of eight-wheeled cars Sd.Kfz.231 and 232, had a fixed superstructure without a rotating turret, a large frame antenna above the body and only light machine gun armament. It served as a command and signals vehicle of reconnaissance units from the beginning of the war.
Glue the small parts with a thin glue for plastic and work with a sharp knife; the frame antenna calls for careful handling. We recommend an undercoat of primer and spraying with an airbrush. The model responds gratefully to washes in the recesses, a dry brush on the edges and dust effects on the running gear.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
