This is not a vehicle model but a diorama accessory, a piece of furniture. The sideboard, or dresser, is made by high-resolution SLA 3D printing in resin in 1:72 scale. It serves as a faithful interior item that gives a room a lived-in character.
A sideboard suits domestic interiors, kitchens, taverns and shops. Set against a wall it creates a natural frame for a scene and, together with small items on the shelves and with figures, it gives the scene life. In 1:72 scale the lines of the cabinet and the suggestion of the doors come out well.
Wash the mold release agent off the parts, remove the print supports and sand them gently with respiratory protection. They are bonded with cyanoacrylate glue. You create a wooden look with brown shades, filters and fine washes into the recesses; pick out the fittings with a fine brush. A flat or semi-gloss varnish evens the surface out.
The accessory is supplied unpainted. Paints, glue and figures are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
