Peewit - cut painting masks for the Siebel Si-204E / Aero C-3B, 1:72 scale are a self-adhesive masking set for plastic models, not a model.
Responsibility details are not available.
A precisely cut self-adhesive masking set from Peewit for plastic models of the twin-engined aircraft Siebel Si-204E, built after the war in Czechoslovakia as the Aero C-3B, in 1:72 scale. It is not a model and not a kit but a painting accessory that is bought separately. The heavily glazed nose and cockpit make for demanding masking, which shape-cut templates simplify while guaranteeing sharp frames. The material holds on the edge and leaves no adhesive once lifted.
The Siebel Si-204 was a twin-engined training and transport aircraft originating from a German design of the end of the 1930s. After the Second World War it was built in Czechoslovakia at Aero Vodochody under the C-3 series designation; the C-3B version served for training bombardiers and navigators, with a characteristically glazed nose. The aircraft was an important part of the postwar training of the Czechoslovak Air Force and is one of the typical machines of the domestic production of its day.
Degrease the glazing and let it dry. Transfer the masks with tweezers, lay them between the frames and press the edges down with a toothpick against bleeding. Spray the shade of the frames first, then the primer and the camouflage, and lift the masks while the paint is fresh.
This is a masking set, not a model. The kit, paints and glue are not included in the package.
