Responsibility details are not available.
An injection-molded plastic kit of the Soviet SU-85 self-propelled tank destroyer in 1:72 scale from the manufacturer Zvezda. The model in this popular smaller scale offers a quick build and a rewarding base for weathering. It is supplied unassembled and unpainted.
The SU-85 was a Soviet self-propelled gun and tank destroyer of the Second World War built on the chassis of the T-34 tank. In its enclosed casemate it carried a powerful 85 mm gun able to destroy German tanks at greater range. The vehicle filled a gap until stronger types arrived and proved itself in the anti-tank role from 1943.
Glue the parts with liquid cement for plastic. In 1:72 scale thin coats of paint come into their own; a primer base and an airbrush are recommended. Finish and paint the running gear before closing the hull. Washes in the recesses, dry-brushing on the edges and dust effects on the running gear give the model a battle-worn look.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
