A resin Rotol propeller for the Spitfire Mk. V with an alignment jig in 1:72 scale from Quickboost. A faithful propeller; this is not an airplane model.
Responsibility details are not available.
A resin detail part, not an airplane kit. This finely cast resin set replaces the propeller of the British Supermarine Spitfire Mk. V fighter in the Rotol form, in 1:72 scale. The package also holds a small alignment jig that helps set the propeller blades at the correct, symmetrical angle. The Spitfire Mk. V was powered by the Rolls-Royce Merlin 45 V12 engine and was among the most widespread versions of this legendary machine. The part is intended for more experienced modelers who work with resin.
The propeller is one of the most conspicuous elements at the nose, and its shape and the setting of the blades strongly affect the overall impression. The resin casting offers a faithful profile of the broad Rotol blades, and thanks to the jig supplied you can easily set the blades at a uniform angle, which with a propeller from the box tends to be a problem. The result is a clean, symmetrical propeller.
This is a resin detail accessory, not a model. The base kit, paints and glue are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
