A base with the motif of a street with the ruin of a house in 1:72 scale, the third variant of the line, prepared as a diorama backdrop.
Responsibility details are not available.
The joining of a street and a demolished house is a classic of city dioramas: the paved area leads the eye to the model and the collapsed masonry behind it gives the scene action and height alike. This base joins both items into one section and is executed in 1:72 scale. The number three in the name sets the variant apart within the line; the neighboring numbers offer a different arrangement of the same subject.
You will use it on its own as a scene with one model and several figures, or place it into a longer street put together from more sections. The small scale keeps the finished work in a size that can be reckoned with even in an ordinary display case. Try the arrangement out dry while you can still move the models about.
Wash and degrease the surface, cut the excess material off with a sharp blade a little way from the part and sand the traces of manufacture down. Paint the roadway and the masonry separately, otherwise the scene will merge: keep the area of the street in cooler tones and the masonry in warmer ones. Lighten the edges with a dry brush, darken the joints with a liquid weathering product and apply rubble and dust with pigments at the foot of the walls. The particular procedure for preparation is given by the manufacturer's instructions.
It will be appreciated by modelers who want a finished city scene without building houses and terrain themselves. Unless stated otherwise, do not reckon with the package holding models, figures, paints or glue.
