This resin Quickboost set in 1:72 scale contains an exactly cast ejection seat for the Sukhoi Su-27 (NATO reporting name Flanker), including cast-in seat belts. It is not an aircraft model but an aftermarket detail part that will replace the simple plastic seat from the kit and markedly bring the cockpit to life.
The Sukhoi Su-27 is a Soviet, later Russian twin-engine heavy fighter for air superiority. Its roomy cockpit with the prominent ejection seat is clearly visible with the canopy open, so an accurate seat with belts is among the most noticeable improvements. The casting captures the structure of the cushion, the backrest and the straps in a single step.
Wash the seat in lukewarm soapy water before gluing so that the mold release from the mold disappears. Separate it from the casting block with a saw or a knife, not by breaking it off. It is bonded with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Sand and cut with respiratory protection, resin dust is harmful to health. The belts come out once lightly brought out with paint and varnish.
