This product is an accessory photo-etched fret in 1:72 scale, not an airplane model. It belongs to the Zoom range, which is the lightened variant of a photo-etched set: instead of covering the whole model it concentrates on the cockpit and on the parts that are most visible once the model is finished, and offers them partly in color print. Anyone who only wants to improve the look of the cockpit and does not want to get into extensive photo-etch will reach for this one.
In 1:72 scale the Zoom parts are truly tiny, a number of them measuring only a few millimeters. It pays off to work over a light base and with a magnifier or a head magnifier; a lost part is practically unfindable on a carpet. Tweezers with fine but not sharp tips are suitable, so that the print is not scratched. Separate the parts with a scalpel, cutting from above, rather than by breaking them off.
Pre-colored elements are glued without a base coat and without painting. Dose super glue with a pin, because even a small drop spreads and dulls the print. Degrease the unpainted parts first and coat them with a base paint. Try the seats and instrument panels dry in the plastic part - sometimes the plastic has to be sanded down lightly so that the photo-etch sits level and does not lift.
This is an accessory to the build, not a standalone model. The kit, glue and paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
