UM T-34/57 with the ZIS-4M gun 1:72 is an injection-molded plastic kit of the Soviet tank destroyer with a high-velocity 57 mm gun.
Responsibility details are not available.
This plastic kit in 1:72 scale from UM represents a less usual version of the famous T-34 tank, fitted with the high-velocity 57 mm ZIS-4M gun. The model is molded in injection plastic, complemented by a small photo-etched set and rubber parts for the tracks and the tow cables. It offers a faithful running gear and T-34 hull.
The T-34/57 was a variant intended to destroy armored targets. In place of the standard 76 mm gun it received the longer 57 mm ZIS-4 gun with a higher muzzle velocity and better penetration. Only a small number of vehicles were converted, and they rank among the historically interesting Soviet tank destroyers.
Assemble the running gear and the tracks first, then the hull and the turret with its long barrel. Glue the plastic with liquid cement and the photo-etch with cyanoacrylate glue. Once the green has been sprayed on, bring the model to life with a wash in the recesses and pigments for dust effects on the running gear.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
