A plastic kit of the Soviet T-34/85 medium tank with the D-5T gun in 1:72 scale from the Ukrainian maker UM (UniModels). The model is supplied as injection-molded plastic to be assembled and painted, and it captures an early version of the T-34/85 series.
The T-34/85 was a markedly strengthened version of the T-34 tank. It received a larger three-man turret and an 85 mm gun, which improved its ability to fight the heavier German tanks. Early vehicles were armed with the D-5T gun before the later standard type came in. The tank became one of the most widespread armored vehicles of the end of the Second World War.
Finish the running gear before you close the hull and seat the turret with its longer barrel carefully. A primer works well, then Soviet protective green with an airbrush, washes in the recesses and dust or mud pigments on the running gear.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
