This is a resin accessory, not a kit. The set holds precisely cast engine exhaust stacks that replace the plastic parts of a Tempest Mk.V fighter model. Resin castings usually have finer walls and better marked outlets and give the engine section a more realistic look.
The Hawker Tempest Mk.V was a British fighter of the Second World War with a powerful Napier Sabre engine. It excelled in high speed at low altitude and made its name destroying V-1 missiles.
Wash the mold release agent off the parts and cut them from the casting blocks. Bond them with super glue (cyanoacrylate). The outlets can be carefully drilled out for a truer look; follow metallic shades with a dark wash and a hint of rust. Wear respiratory protection while sanding.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted. The base kit, paints and glue are not included in the package.
