A set of masks for spraying the national insignia onto a model of the Tornado in the GR version in 1:72 scale. The markings are sprayed in paint, so no carrier film of a decal is left on the surface.
Responsibility details are not available.
The Panavia Tornado is a two-seat combat aircraft with a variable-geometry wing, which from the end of the 1970s made up the backbone of the strike squadrons of several European air forces. The letters GR belong to the British strike version; from the machines of the other users it differed mainly in its equipment and the armament it carried.
A masking set for spraying the national insignia onto a model in 1:72 scale. Instead of decals the insignia are applied in paint, so no carrier film is left on the surface and the sheen of the markings corresponds to the sheen of the finish around them. Before buying, compare the dimensions of the insignia with the areas on the model you are building.
The set suits a modeler who wants the markings sprayed in the same texture as the rest of the finish, and it suits flat camouflage surfaces as well, where decals are apt to silver on a rougher surface. It is a standalone masking set; a model, paints and glue are not supplied with it, unless stated otherwise.
