This resin (3D printed) detail set replaces the wheels of both the main and the nose landing gear on models of the variable-geometry Tu-22M-2/3 bomber in 1:72 scale. The wheels have a fine relief of the tire and the hub and as a rule a realistic flat spot at the contact patch. Note that this is a different aircraft from the older Tu-22, so do not mix the variants up. The set is an accessory, not an airplane model.
The Tu-22M is a Soviet and Russian supersonic bomber with a variable-geometry wing, markedly different from the older Tu-22. The M-2 and M-3 versions differ from each other above all in their engines and equipment. The rugged multi-wheel landing gear is one of its typical features.
Wash the wheels to remove print resin residue, separate them from the print supports and clean them up. They are bonded with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Make sure the flat spot is oriented toward the ground. Wear respiratory protection while sanding.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted; glue, paints and the base model are not included in the package.
