Responsibility details are not available.
An injection-molded plastic kit in 1:72 scale from the Polish brand IBG Models captures the Japanese infantry support tank Type 2 Ho-I. In the package you will find sprues with plastic parts and a decal sheet. It is a classic kit in hard polystyrene, which you glue with modeling plastic cement.
The Type 2 Ho-I was a Japanese infantry support tank built on the chassis of the Type 1 Chi-He medium tank. In the turret it carried a short-barreled gun of 75 mm caliber intended for destroying field fortifications and for direct fire support of advancing infantry. Only a few dozen of the vehicles were built and all of them stayed in Japan as a reserve for the defense of the home islands — they never took part in combat operations.
Cut the parts off the sprues with a sharp knife and clean the sprue gates up with a file. Glue with thin plastic cement, which dissolves the seam and strengthens the joint. Finish and paint the running gear and the lower hull before you close the upper parts of the vehicle. Darker filters and a wash into the hollows suit the patina, and apply dust and mud effects with pigments at the end.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
