The set holds UB-32 rocket pods for unguided S-5 rockets in 1:72 scale and serves to fill out the stores of models of Soviet and Russian combat aircraft and helicopters. Photo-etched parts as well as decals tend to be part of it.
The UB-32 is a Soviet rocket pod for 32 unguided rockets of 57 mm caliber of the S-5 series. A number of machines of Eastern design carried it, from fighters through ground-attack aircraft up to helicopters, from the 1960s to the present. The faithfully cast front face with the openings of the tubes and the body of the pod noticeably enrich the external stores of a model.
Wash the resin parts in lukewarm water with detergent because of the mold release agent. Cut the casting blocks off and sand the surfaces with protection of the airways, and glue the parts with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Use the photo-etched elements on the fine details. The pods are usually sprayed in a gray or green paint according to the carrier, and it suits the openings of the tubes to be darkened with a wash.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted; these are parts in resin and photo-etch for filling a plastic model out. Glue, paints and the base kit are not included in the package.
