US M26 with the 90 mm T15E2M2 gun 1:72 from Trumpeter is a plastic kit of the American Pershing heavy tank with the experimental long gun.
Responsibility details are not available.
This injection-molded plastic kit in 1:72 scale captures the American M26 Pershing heavy tank with the experimental lengthened 90 mm T15E2M2 gun. The model has a finely shaped hull and turret, chassis equipment and a display stand. Trumpeter is a Chinese maker; in this smaller scale it is a compact but well detailed model.
The M26 Pershing was an American heavy (later medium) tank of the late Second World War, meant to face the heavily armored German machines. The lengthened T15E2 gun came about as part of efforts toward markedly higher penetrating power against heavy targets and was tested on the Pershing; this version with the long barrel is among the less usual and collectible variants.
In a smaller scale, take care over the clean fit of the hull and the turret and handle the running gear and the tracks gently, as they tend to be delicate on kits of this type. Join the plastic with liquid cement. Lay down a base, spray the main shade with an airbrush and bring even a small model to life with a fine wash into the recesses and dust pigments on the chassis.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
