Eduard 1:35 Fl 282 Kolibri is a set of precisely cut painting masks for spraying the canopy glazing of a model of the German Flettner Fl 282 Kolibri helicopter.
Responsibility details are not available.
A set of painting masks in 1:35 scale from the Czech maker Eduard. It is not a model of a helicopter but an accessory for painting the frames of the glazed canopy of a Flettner Fl 282 Kolibri model cleanly. The masks are cut to fit the glazing, so the frames come out sharp and even without the slow cutting of masking tape.
The Flettner Fl 282 Kolibri was a German light helicopter of the Second World War with a characteristic pair of intermeshing rotors, a synchropter. It was used for liaison, observation and for trials of takeoff and landing from ships. It is among the first helicopters put to practical use at all.
Lift the masks off the sheet, place them on the glazed areas and press them down. Lay the paint down with an airbrush in thin coats. The interior shade is usually sprayed first and the covering color of the frames afterwards. Once dry, lift the masks off and gently wipe away the adhesive residue.
This is a masking accessory, not a model. Paints, glue and the kit itself are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
