A resin detail set from Quickboost with American recognition lights in 1:72 scale. The castings replace the plastic parts or fill in the places on the underside of the fuselage where American aircraft carried identification lights. It is a universal building accessory, not an airplane model in itself.

The real subject

The recognition (identification) lights were a group of three colored lights fitted on the underside of the fuselage of American aircraft. They served for mutual recognition and for signaling. The set is universal and you will be able to use it on several types of American aircraft of the period.

Building tips

Separate the small parts carefully from the casting blocks and fit them to the underside of the fuselage. Bond them with super glue and pick out the transparent faces with clear shades according to the color of the lights.
