A plastic kit of the American General Dynamics F-16C Fighting Falcon multirole fighter in US Air Force service, in 1:72 scale from Academy. The model is injection-molded in plastic and comes with a decal sheet for USAF schemes. It represents the single-seat combat version of this widely used light fighter.
The F-16 Fighting Falcon, nicknamed Viper, is one of the most widely used multirole fighters in the world. The F-16C version is the single-seat combat variant, capable of both air combat and attack on ground targets. It is marked by great agility, a bubble canopy with all-round visibility and a wide range of external stores. In the service of the USAF and of many allies it forms the backbone of tactical air power.
Assemble and paint the cockpit and the ejection seat before closing up the fuselage. Glue the parts with liquid cement for plastic and mask the glazing. For the typical look, the two-tone gray USAF camouflage suits it; bring out the panel lines with a fine wash. Glue on the landing gear and the stores only at the end of the build.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
