Responsibility details are not available.
An injection-molded plastic kit of the German three-ton truck in its basic General Service cargo version. The model comes from the Polish maker IBG Models and in the package you will find the plastic sprues, a clear part for the glazing, photo-etched sheet for the fine details and a decal sheet with two marking options. It is a new mold, the parts have good detail and the cab and the cargo bed offer a rewarding place for accessories.
The Ford V3000S was a German three-ton truck built from 1942 under license at the Ford factory in Cologne; some twenty-five thousand of them were made by the end of the war. It was powered by a gasoline eight-cylinder engine driving the rear axle and in its cargo version it carried troops and materiel on practically every front. It was one of the backbones of German supply transport.
Assemble the chassis and the suspension first, and think through the painting of the hard-to-reach places before you close up the cab and the cargo bed. Glue the plastic with a thin modeling cement and the photo-etched parts with cyanoacrylate glue. A filler primer and airbrush spraying are recommended; for the authentic look of field equipment reach for washes and pigments, which create mud and dust effects.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
