A kit of the French VBL light armored vehicle on the shorter chassis, in the armament variant with a 7.62 mm machine gun, in 1:72 scale.
Responsibility details are not available.
The VBL, that is the Véhicule Blindé Léger, is a French light armored car with four-wheel drive, developed by Panhard. It came about as a small reconnaissance and liaison vehicle that can get through where a heavier armored vehicle cannot squeeze, while still protecting the crew from splinters and small-arms fire. It is built with both a shorter and a longer chassis and in many armament variants, from machine gun to anti-tank. Besides the French army it serves in a number of other countries, and its angular silhouette can be met on most of the overseas missions of recent decades.
The model captures the vehicle on the shorter chassis with a 7.62 mm machine gun. It is supplied unassembled and unpainted. How many parts the package holds, which finishes the instructions offer and in what order the work proceeds is given by the instructions supplied by the manufacturer.
The vehicle is small even in reality, and in 1:72 scale barely a five-centimeter piece is left of it, so try every step dry and apply the glue in minute drops. The hull is made up of large flat surfaces on which every gap in a joint and every scratch from sanding shows. Leave the wheels aside and fit them only after the chassis has been sprayed, otherwise you will not get to it. Fit the machine gun and the mirrors at the very end, so that they do not break off while being handled. Wash and degrease the model before painting.
A kit is supplied. Glue, paints and tools are not part of the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
