Wooden deck in 1:700 scale for the Meng PS-004 kit with the model of U.S.S. Missouri BB-63, in the finish the name sets apart with the word blue.
Responsibility details are not available.
U.S.S. Missouri BB-63 is an American battleship on whose deck the war in the Pacific ended in 1945 with the signing of the Japanese surrender. Modelers build her often, and the differences between individual builds are then found mainly in the details, among them the look of the deck area.
The set is a wooden deck part in 1:700 scale cut for the kit from the maker Meng with the manufacturer's part number PS-004. It differs from the basic variant for the same kit in a finish the name marks with the word blue; choose according to the look of deck you want. The material is wood, so the surface has its own tone and texture.
Lay the part on dry first and check the outlines around the turrets, barbettes and superstructure. Free the plastic beneath it of dust and grease so that the joint holds at the edges too. Choose the glue and the fixing procedure according to the manufacturer's instructions and apply it thinly and evenly; any excess is drawn through the wood to the face. Lay the deck gradually from one end so that no air is left underneath, and cut the overhang off with a sharp blade a little away from the edge.
For the modeler who has this particular kit on the bench and wants a different look of deck from the basic variant. The kit, paints and glue are not part of the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
