A small accessory, not a kit. A miniature of a British water jerry can with a capacity of five gallons in 1:72 scale, meant as a load for models of Allied equipment and as a detail in smaller dioramas.
Water containers were as much a matter of course in the equipment of British units as fuel cans. It is precisely such small things that make the difference on a model between a cleanly built kit and a scene that looks used. In 1:72 scale the effect is different from the larger scales: a single part is tiny, but several of them placed on a truck bed or by a vehicle noticeably bring the silhouette to life.
Clean the part, sand any casting remains down carefully and attach it with super glue. Work over a surface with a raised edge, so that an object this small does not fly away. Paint thinly, ideally after a primer has been sprayed on, and keep the weathering to a minimum: at this scale a dark wash and a light suggestion of the edges are enough. A water container differs in color from the rest of the load, but check the particular markings against your own references.
This is an accessory, not a model. It is supplied unpainted; glue and paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
