This resin set replaces the simplified fuel outlet pipe part on a kit of the Vickers Wellington bomber in 1:72 scale, in the variant with closed flaps. It is not a stand-alone airplane model but a detail accessory that refines a prominently visible place with a more faithful casting.
The Vickers Wellington was a British twin-engine bomber of the Second World War, typified by the geodetic structure of its fuselage. It served with the British bomber and coastal air arms and was deployed in a range of roles from raids to patrolling over the sea. Small external details are among the prominently visible features on a model.
First wash the mold release residue off the parts, carefully cut off the casting blocks and clean up the surfaces; protect your airways while sanding. Bond them with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). We recommend painting the casting to follow on from the surrounding areas and, if you like, picking it out with a fine wash.
The set is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and the base kit are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
