The North American XB-70 Valkyrie was an American experimental strategic bomber of the 1960s, capable of flying at more than three times the speed of sound at high altitude. Only two prototypes were built, and its futuristic shape with the large delta wing and the folding wingtips makes it an icon of the Cold War.
For modelers who are building the large Valkyrie model in 1:72 scale and want to refine it beyond the injection-molded kit. It calls for experience in reworking and dry-fitting parts.
