Yakovlev Yak-1 (mod. 1941) 1:72 from Brengun - an injection-molded plastic kit of the Soviet fighter of the start of the Great Patriotic War, with photo-etched and resin parts.
Responsibility details are not available.
This injection-molded plastic kit in 1:72 scale represents the Soviet Yakovlev Yak-1 fighter in its 1941 version. The package contains gray plastic parts, a clear canopy part, additional resin parts, a set of photo-etched parts and decals for several aircraft. It is a quality model of the early version of the Yak.
The Yak-1 was a single-seat Soviet fighter of mixed construction (wood and metal) with a Klimov M-105 V12 engine. It was among the first modern fighters of the Soviet Air Force and was used from 1941 in defensive fighting against the Luftwaffe. The mod. 1941 version represents the early production form of the machine.
Glue the plastic with liquid cement; first wash the resin parts free of release agent and glue them with cyanoacrylate. Apply a primer before painting. An airbrush suits the typical Soviet camouflage (dark green, black, light blue undersides).
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
