It is not an aircraft kit but a precise replacement canopy part. The package offers options for building the cockpit in the open as well as the closed position. The formed canopy has a thin and clear wall, so the frames look to scale and there is a good view inside.
The Yak-11 was a Soviet two-seat trainer of the late 1940s, derived from the Yak-3 fighter. It served for advanced and combat training in a number of countries; in Czechoslovakia it was built under license as the C-11. The glazed tandem cockpit is characteristic of the type.
The part is cut from the carrier film, the edges sanded to a precise fit and then polished. It is glued with clear PVA glue or a small drop of super glue gel so that the surface does not cloud. We recommend masking the frames with narrow strips and spraying both the interior and the exterior color.
This is a modeling accessory, not a complete kit. Glue, paints and the base model are not included in the package.
